Walk-In Policy

Walk-ins are strictly on appointment.

Payment

All checks are payable to the official company account as stipulated in the invoice.

Ready-To-Wear

For all ready-to-wear pieces, payment is to be made after confirmation of availability before the outfit(s) is dispatched or picked up.

Bespoke

An initial deposit of 70% is mandatory to proceed with work. The total deposit is expected to be made within 15 days of the initial deposit. Overdue accounts are subject to a service charge of 2% per month.

Outfit Rental Policy

Dumebi approves outfit rentals on a case-by-case basis. Approval and charges are issued by management depending on the piece(s) requested before their release.

40% of the initial charge will be deposited as a fee, refundable upon return of piece(s) in proper condition.

Pieces may not be altered once released and must be returned in their original condition.

Damage charges will be incurred and deducted from the refundable deposit.

Late fees will be incurred if the piece(s) is not returned on or before the stated return date.

Delivery timeline and charges may vary based on customer’s location, within or outside Abuja,

Ready-To-Wear

Ready to wear outfits are generally ready for delivery within 2 days after payment confirmation

Bespoke

Bespoke outfits are generally ready for delivery within 2 weeks after consultations and deposit confirmation.

Delivery timeline and charges may vary based on customer’s location, within or outside Abuja,

Within Abuja

Deliveries within Abuja are completed within 24 hours.

Outside Abuja

Deliveries outside Abuja are completed with 2-5 days.

Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are charged dependent on the delivery company’s charges.

Return Policy

Dumebi does not offer returns, refunds or exchanges on bespoke purchases.

Requests for returns on bespoke piece(s) must be made within 24 hours of receiving the item.

An item may be returned if any of the following occur:

  • The item was damaged during transportation and cannot be repaired.
  • The wrong item was delivered.
  • The goods are unused and returned in the same condition as when purchased.
  • The goods are returned in their original packaging, complete with all tags and stickers attached.

Alterations Policy

Dumebi is responsible for alterations made to piece(s) as a result of a fault or error from the company after initial fittings. These are carried out free of charge.

Alterations requested by clients after the completion of initial designs are carried out at an additional charge.

Change of Use

Dumebi Clothing reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove any portion of these terms and conditions in whole or in part at any time.

Changes to the terms and conditions will be effective when posted.

Design Consultation

When a client has the fabric without a design and wants Dumebi Clothing to come up with a design.

Fabric Consultation

When a client has a design in mind already without a fabric and wants Dumebi Clothing to provide fabric options.

Fabric & Design Consultation

When a client wants both a design and fabric sourced by Dumebi Clothing.

Tailoring Consultation

When a client has both the fabric and design already and wants Dumebi Clothing to handle the tailoring.
